White Institute Conference on the Treatment of Sexual Abuse Within the Orthodox Jewish Community on Sunday, May 22, 2011

THE VOICE OF JUSTICE  is pleased to announce that The William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychology will be holding a conference focused on issues related to the treatment of sexual abuse within the Orthodox Jewish community. The event will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
The panel will include both clinicians and rabbis. The purpose of this educational forum is to offer a simultaneous clinical and halachic/cultural presentation of the unique factors at play within the Orthodox Jewish community.
We encourage anyone with an interest in the issue of abuse and the way it has been dealt with within the Orthodox Jewish community to attend this groundbreaking one day event.
