Tomorrow, March 25, 2011, also happens to be the 100th Anniversary of the Triangle Waistshirt Fire, in which 146 people perished, mostly young immigrant Jewish and Italian women.
ReplyDeleteThe victims did not die in vain. After the fire, the NYS Legislature held public hearings throughout the state, and then enacted 32 new laws, establishing worker safety standards.
The clergy sex abuse crisis, in Jewish and Catholic institutions, has now been brewing for nearly a decade. The two criminal hearings scheduled for tomorrow are the latest manifestation in our own community. there is a misnomer
ReplyDeleteuntil aguda supports the markey bill which allows victimes to go after the schools and camps that protected the molesters aguda should not be mentioned
aguda and ohel has done more to coverup molestation in our community then anyone else
aguda and ohel should eb ashamed of their action
